What is the SUA Strategy and How Much To Bring it to Texas?

Picture
More than 600,000 Texas women voters are part of the winning Sisters United Alliance Strategy (SUA.)

SUA will:

•    Identify potential voters through the VAN and other data bases
•    Design, print, and mail at least three mailers with messages designed to motivate women to vote.
•    Hire a professional phone bank to reach each potential voter twice (bilingual!)
•    Continuously update and refine data through Election Day
•    Place digital promotion on multiple social media channels including targeted audience advertising (at least 700,000 impressions on 18 platforms and texting.)
•    Provide post-election report with detail of program activities and recommendations for future efforts.

Total program costs for Texas --$1.1M for 600,000+ potential voters--that's less than $2 to contact each woman multiple times!

How the SUA success adds up to a win:

The first SUA campaign in 2016 turnout:
37,000 of 85,000 voted (Harris County)

The second SUA campaign in 2018 with nine counties turnout:
44,000 of 122,000 voted

--Impacted at least three races with positive outcomes for Texas Democrats
--Helped avoid run-off elections

In CD7, of the 8,169 women reached by SUA, 4,138 of them voted Blue!  That's a 51% turnout rate, an unheard of response for a GOTV effort.  SUA figured it out.

SUA is expanding their strategy to key Texas counties
In 2020, SUA is expanding to 38 key Texas counties, representing almost 600,000 registered but not yet voting women.  Adding at least half a million new liberal-leaning voters will change the course of politics across the state and the country!  Here are the Texas counties with the five biggest potential registered women voter populations.

Harris County  172,000
Dallas County    95,300
Bexar County     93,300
Tarrant County   51,000
Travis County     47,400
