You are invited to learn about the GOTV strategy to identify, educate, and motivate registered but not yet voting Texas women to vote and take their household with them. We are partnering with Sisters United Alliance to implement their winning strategy. Learn more about Sisters United Alliance and their successful outcomes.
Sisters United Alliance® (SUA) is a Texas-based PAC whose GOTV initiative targets progressive women who are registered to vote but have not voted at all or not for the last two election cycles. Because Texas has the one of the lowest voter turnout rates in the nation among registered voters – approximately half – the universe of non-voting progressive women is substantial. SUA voters are the “forgotten women” who registered and then were left alone with no outreach at all. And because SUA will be contacting these forgotten women by mail, social media, and phone, their strategies are not hampered by any virus shutdowns. Tune in to the briefing to hear about the impressive SUA women voter turnout rates in 2016 and 2018, and learn about the plan to bring that SUA outreach to Texas in 2020. Voting women are powerful. You can help women turn Texas Blue up and down the ballot! |
